"I was born and brought up in a Rural Thanda where primary occupation is agriculture. My experiences with Rural environment inspired me to join M. tech in CTARA, IIT Bombay after completion of Bachelors in Mechanical engineering at IIT Hyderabad. CTARA  provided a platform to enriched my skills, Technical knowledge and social concern to solve the problems of society in Inclusive and sustainable manner. Willing to learn new technologies and work in any sector to apply them for a sustainable future of rural areas."

  • Appropriate Technology intervention for livelihood improvement of farmers | Prof. N.G. Shah | [December 2018]
    • Interviewed 12 farmers to understand the increase in yield due to change from chemical to organic fertilizers
    • Analyzed the intervention of TATA power CSR activities for farmers in Vadeshwar and Karjat
  • Nine weeks field stay at Rajavolu Village in Cherukupalli Mandel, Guntur District, A.P | Prof. Pankaj sekhsaria  | [May 2019 - July 2019]
    • Conducted a mixed-methods study of 75+ households as a part of fieldwork of 64 days in Rajavolu village 
    • Analyzed 9 sectors which included village profile, demographics, agriculture, energy, water supply, sanitation, public infrastructure, education, and GP Personnel committee
    • Conducted Participatory Rural Appraisal activities to understand the village dynamics
    •  Identified and analyses problems/issues within a village eco-system and formulate solutions.
    • Scheme Analysis was carried (exclusively focusses on the Governance, which covers the functioning of institutions) and provided some recommendations.

  • Grid connection system vs Decentralized Distributed Generation system using solar energy for the tribal village of Maharashtra | Prof. Priya Jadhav | [Sept. 2018 - Nov. 2018] 
    • Based on primary data collection in Tribal region, calculations of load demand and consumption pattern were studied
    • The power distribution network was designed both for centralized grid system and decentralized solar PV system and compared based on calculations of Net Present Value and Cost of Electricity 
  • Assessment of Impact of Urbanization on Groundwater Resources using GIS Tech.-Case study of Hyderabad   | Prof. Pennan Chinnaswamy | [July'18 - Nov'18] 
    • Analyze the groundwater use in the city. Important observations from GIS were lakes of the city are shrinking and consecutively use of groundwater is increasing

    • Analyzed the potential environmental impacts of Paddy cultivation as a function of farm management techniques using Open LCA software
    • Effect of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, farm equipment, and machinery was studied and compared chemical farming with organic farming
