The project focuses on generating livelihood opportunities for tribals in Dimbhe dam area.  The given proposal is aimed at helping these tribals in generating livelihood opportunities with help of a de-husking machine.  CIAE has designed this machine in association with MPVS, Bhopal. 

RuTAG IIT Bombay proposes to make suitable modifications and make it suitable for dehusking of Varai, Nachani and Kangi which are minor millets growing in Maharashtra. In the beginning we propose to focus on de-husking of varai.
