To provide an insight into the livelihoods of two individuals, both of whom represent millions of entrepreneurial Indians but are not recognized as such.  They are Below-the-Radar-Entrepreneurs, running sustainable, modest businesses with few Government incentives and no recognition, yet the niches they occupy are important in fulfilling long term economic goals of employment with dignity and decentralized markets.

About Speaker: 

Gopakumar completed his PGDM from IIM Bangalore (1989-91), with an abiding interest in development economics and sustainable agriculture.  Worked as an investment professional in two venture funds, over an eleven-year period, and, since 2002, have facilitated leadership development programs.  Part of the Advisory team at Craftizen, a social enterprise and have consulted with small and medium firms and social enterprises in areas as diverse as footwear, technology and chocolate.  Founded River Otter Conservancy for the conservation of otters and their habitat.
