C-TARA Annual Flagship Event - Development Dialogue on 4th October 2025
The Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas, IIT Bombay at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay is delighted to announce our Annual Flagship Event, Development Dialogue 2025!
Since its establishment in 1985, C-TARA has pioneered community-focused technological interventions to tackle rural development challenges. Our students from the M.Tech and Ph.D. programs in “Technology & Development” are rigorously trained in technology design, policy analysis, and data-driven decision-making with extensive fieldwork anchoring their real-world expertise.
Development Dialogue 2025 will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and development professionals to explore innovative pathways for inclusive and sustainable development. The event’s centerpiece is an expert panel discussion, focusing on the convergence of technology, sustainability, and community-driven solutions.
