Nominations for R. Hanumantha Rao award for alumnus!
Nominations are invited from the CTARA family, nominating CTARA alumni for their commendable contributions to society, in line with CTARA's mandate.
The R. Hanumantha Rao award for alumnus/alumni with a track record for exceptional contribution to CTARA and to the social sector has been instituted by Prof Bakul Rao and Mr Prasanna Rao, in the memory of their parents, to promote excellence in rural development and the social sector. This is one of the three awards instituted in 2023 to award meritorious students and exceptional alumni in CTARA. The alumni award will be given to the alumnus/ alumna with a track record in the development field, either by starting a social entrepreneurship, an NGO, or who has contributed significantly to the field and to CTARA.
This is a call for nominations for the 2025 awards. Self-nominations are also accepted, and nominations for the last three years are also considered for evaluation. Last date for filling the nominations is 5th August 2025. See more details in the attachments.
