Nominations are invited for the Parimala Rao Award to honour meritorious and early stage researchers for the best Ph.D thesis in the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA), IIT Bombay
The Parimala Rao award award annually calls for application for the best Ph.D thesis in the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA), IIT Bombay. The award recognizes academic excellence and encourages young researchers in their contribution to rural development. This award has been founded by Professor Bakul Rao and Mr Prassana Rao in the memory of their mother to promote excellence in rural development and social sector.
This is a call for nominations for the year 2025 awards. Self-nominations are also accepted, and nominations for the last three years are also considered for evaluation. Last date for filling the nominations is 5th August 2025. See more details in the attachments.
