     With a B.Tech degree in Civil engineering worked as a trainee engineer in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan under Dept. of Water Supply & Sanitation ,Punjab with prime objective of ensuring appropriate drinking water supply facility(OHSR constructions) to the households along with eradication of open defecation in the concerned villages, also undergone training in Parvati H.E. Project Phase -II , NHPC (Kullu, Himachal Pradesh) in tunneling and finally turned to a development professional to address the missing linkages by joining CTARA. Awarded with UNICEF fellowship (2019-2021) currently working on undernutrition -analysis of growth faltering patterns, understanding the behavioral linkages associated with nutrition and the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Summer Field Stay | Directed Research 1: Diarrheal Knowledge, Preventative Behaviours and Treatment among mothers of children under 5 yrs. of age | Location Assam | May’19- Jul’19
  • Studied the variation of diarrheal knowledge, preventive behaviour and treatment among mothers in different ethnic groups in the Sipajhar block of Darrang district of Assam
  • Statistically evaluated overall knowledge pertaining to diarrhea using ANOVA and multiple comparison (Tukeys test) with respect to 14+ independent variables using Stata SE 13, MS Excel.)
Summer Field Stay | Directed Research 2: Socio-cultural taboos in Rural Darrang causing anaemia | Location Assam | May’19- Jul’19
  • Analysed level of awareness, knowledge (definitions, symptoms, causes) and perception of government interventions pertaining to anaemia among different age groups and ethnicities.

  • Statistically analyzed growth faltering pattern and its effects of determinants on children aged 0-59 months at national and subnational levels using NFHS-4 data using Stata SE 13, Ms. Excel.
  • Analyzed the effect of regional variation and zonal analysis using Stata SE 13, Ms. Excel; Study concluded routine growth monitoring was Crucial and findings reaffirmed the importance of first 1000 days of life.

  • Worked on live project in Vadgaon, Maval town to design an efficient water supply and sanitation system for the next 20 years and checked the hydraulic model using EPANET.
  • Performed topographical survey and population forecast to estimate the demand and design networks.

  • Mapped the malnutrition status of Meghalaya and compared it with NE states using QGIS and data visualization tools.
