"Born and raised in a neighbourhood where primary occupation is agriculture, I always wanted to work in the development sector. I joined M. Tech in CTARA, IIT Bombay after graduation in Civil engineering at BITS Pilani to explore rural life problems. I learnt innovative and affordable technologies, its social relevance and skills required in CTARA. I am currently interested in Agriculture and allied areas."

Internships: 
  • Field Stay in Shivaji Nagar, Nashik for Nine Weeks | Hindustan Aeronautics Limited|[May - Jul 2019]
    • Collected primary data using tools like Open Data Kit (ODK) collect, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and Geo-location tool (OSM tracker) for 67 Households in Shivaji Nagar gram panchayat in Nashik during 2 months field stay.
    • Critically analyzed and digitally represented primary data using software like Geographic Information Systems (QGIS), Google Earth and MS Office.
    • Simulated different potential rain water harvesting techniques, especially Ferro Cement tank, Sintex water tanks and check dams in Shivaji Nagar gram panchayat in Nashik (Maharashtra).
    • Evaluated and provided recommendations on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of HAL. Identified gaps in training courses desired by villagers and offered by skill development center in Nashik.
  • Analyzed waste management and biogas plant at Jain Farm Fresh Food Limited, Jalgaon|[Nov - Dec 2019]
    • Analyzed waste input management for unique Biogas Plant located at JFFFL.
    • Studied function of effluent plants used for liquid waste from fruit processing and Onion dehydration plants

    • Analyzed trend of biofuel production in Global top countries and compared it with India.
    • Critiqued New Bio fuel Policy of India -2018 on basis of sugarcane.
    • Studied possible opportunities for bioethanol and biodiesel production in India
